Declan Rudd again impressed in his first Premier League home start of the season with a string of key interventions to deny the likes of Arouna Kone, Romelu Lukaku and Gareth Barry.
Gary O'Neil's full range of passing was on show during City's brightest spells and Wes Hoolahan dragged Norwich back into a game that looked to be all over after the Toffees' first-half dominance.
Norwich City Correspondent Paddy Davitt went for Rudd who kept City in the contest during a one-sided opening period and denied Barry late on from claiming all three points for the Merseyside outfit.
The result as of 10:30pm on Sunday will be published in Monday's Pink Un alongside Paddy's choice.
