With the UEA class of 2017 being released into the big, wide world, here's a look at what they wore to celebrate the momentous occasion. From tie dye socks adding some excitement to the proceedings to flower-print dresses left, right and centre welcoming in the summer, this year's graduation was as quirky and fashionable as ever, even whilst wearing those navy and peach gowns.

Phoebe's colourful socks in addition to her animal print creepers ensure a stylish look with accessories that add a little bit extra to her outfit, especially with the vivid socks popping against her black trousers and navy gown.

Izzy's classy midi dress is timeless, especially for this time of year and was perfect for the occasion, adding a bit of colour accentuated by her hot pink clutch to the otherwise grey skied day.

Hannah also decided on a bright flowery dress. The combination of the primary colours red, yellow and blue establish a great outfit as they all compliment each other, something not always achieved in a graduation gown.

This vintage dress really stood out as it was unique and classic at the same time. The pop of the mustard yellow top under the dress coupled with her sky blue painted toenails and red lipstick show that not only has she considered her dress carefully, but also how she wore it in this very well thought out and polished outfit.

Oli chose to follow the well-trodden path of wearing a suit but made it his own. The pale linen suit is paired with a navy shirt, not only perfect for this time of year but it also matches the gown, showing that certain pairings can make the graduation gown look good. His sturdy burgundy shoes complete the look to make Oli look cool, calm and collected.

Jordan cleverly matched her lipstick to her dress, showing that the little details make a look. Another flowery dress shows the trend this summer as we look to nature for our inspiration whilst her metallic pumps add an eye-catching shine to the outfit.

This outfit is very fashionable and very 2017. Slip on loafers, an un-tucked shirt and the loosened tie makes the occasion less formal and more chic- it is the ultimate smart casual. Like Oli, Zyler chose to go in his own direction suit-wise in a creative, new way.

Heather's flower print dress is cheery, clearly celebrating the ceremony. Purple and yellow are a brilliant combination in a dress because, as contrasting colours on the colour wheel, they make the other stand out. These mixed with the blue gown provide a winning outfit.

The delicate hues of Jaz's dress allowed her outfit to be stylish whilst not too shocking. Similar to that of her yoke, peachy tones were found in her dress and that with her blue high heels which have a flower on them too, brings the whole outfit together.
