These photos from the EDP's archive show scenes of winter in Norfolk 60 years ago.
All of the photos in our gallery were taken in January and February 1955.
They show how - unlike this winter - people had to struggle with thick snow.
But the cold weather also brought the joy of a frozen Broad.
