Vending machines at St Augustines Swimming Pool, 1963 (Down Memory Lane, May 20). Andy Pownall recognised himself on the left of the picture and John Edser at the machine. John and he were at the time Deputy Head Boy and Head Boy respectively at the Hewett School. John had qualified to teach lifesaving in 1963 and Andy had a Standard 8 car which came in useful for conveying fellow students to the swimming pool.
