One reader believes the NDR should be named after an old railway line, not The Broadland Northway.
To add to the opinions about the name given to the NDR road, I suggest a good name which would be very amusing. The Midland and Great Northern, after the old railway line which used to run through some of the areas where the road is now.
MORE: Norwich Northern Distributor Road to be renamed the Broadland NorthwayLocals used to call the line the Muddle and Go Nowhere, which is what some are calling the NDR.
Also, another suggestion would be the Chris Rea song The Road to Hell.
