To Norwich City Council. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience caused by my driving on your roads. You have made it quite clear you don't want me to use any of your roads with all your schemes to make it impossible to get anywhere around the city.

It was my intention to attempt to drive around the outer ring road at 10am the other day, but, alas, this was not to be. It was a 20 minute journey in the 1970s and 80s, but today it took over an hour! Yes, we can blame the NDR work for some hold-ups, but do we need every road blocked with roadworks and temporary traffic lights? Oh sorry, that's me being sarcastic again. I surrender, you win, I'll wave the white flag of defeat.

When the inner ring road car park is full and the outer ring road car park is full I am sure those 3,000 extra homes in north Norwich will make the NDR into a car park as well. Thank you so much for shutting Norwich to traffic, I am sure the queues of traffic likely when Prince of Wales Road closes will be so very impressed with NCC that it will win awards.
