Do you agree with our reader letter that the fire service is not welcoming enough towards men?
Regarding the article about the shortage of retained fire officers. Having just looked at the fire service website, I see that they particularly welcome women and people from a wide variety of ethnic, cultural, national back grounds and gender identities. Nothing about particularly welcoming men, the very people who are likely to answer the call. Surely the fire service should welcome all people in Norfolk who can do the job, not discriminating.
