Well, it has been a few weeks since I last updated my blog. There has been so much going on. I only have 12 weeks until the big day! I managed to (or should I say my Mum did) get my Dad, and my brother and sort-of -adopted brother Scott to wear morning suits (these are the jackets with tails) so now these are sorted for the whole wedding party. That's all five gentlemen paid for.

I managed to get my shoes sorted, along with best (wo)mens too! We got Amanda a pair of gold sparkly strappy sandals that she can wear again, and there was me on the phone to Helen, the bridesmaid, who is up in Manchester, (shouting because the reception in Chapelfield is not great) trying to explain what these shoes look like! In the end I just took a photo of Amanda wearing them and texted it over to her - what a palaver! Now everyone who was shopping in the city of Norwich that day knows what the shoes look like and how much they cost!

I went all over the place looking for my shoes, I went in one store and they wanted £125, and then they wanted the same again for a slide to go into the hair! I walked out as quickly as I walked in. I went into all the major department stores and got no where. Then I wandered down to St Benedict's, to a little shop called The Wedding Party, and I managed to get a pair of “pink” shoes (name, not colour) a small bag to put the rings into (60p!), and my wedding favour chocolates.

Oh and I got very excited, as I managed to get shower gel and body lotion in Estee Lauder's Beautiful Sheer, so now I will be smelling in layers! I did try to cover up how much I had spent on Saturday, but ended up spilling the beans over dinner (and a huge bottle of wine, which I had none of!)

Today we picked up some helium for the balloons, think we may have a little bit of fun tonight, we will be talking like Chip and Dale the chipmunks! It was £17.99 for a bottle to fill 50 balloons so we were really happy. Last night I had the painstaking job of using gold peel-offs to label up the place settings. So, there I was spelling everyone's name out in individual stickers, and boy how tedious??? And the order of service…just don't go there! I have printed the covers, and that's as far as I have got, along with being in a right strop!

Oh well, job done! We have now booked our honeymoon. We are going to Gran Canaria in December, and I can't wait! OOOOHHHHH and I have picked up the wedding rings, another thing done!

Now is the big count down! Left to do:

Gifts for helpers

Lingerie

Order of service

And get drunk and enjoy the day! (In 12 weeks that is!!!!)
