A tender picture of a girl in the arms of a woman was among the winners of North Norfolk Photographic Society's latest competition.

'The Embrace', by Malcolm English, won the Advanced section of the club's print competition, this month.
It was judged by Sarak Kelman, from Cambridge, an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society.

The Novice section was won by Martyn Gould whose dramatic black and white photograph of The Matterhorn showed that peak rising over a layer of cloud.
