As the snow turns to slush, many people will be relieved at being able to get their lives back to normal.
But as well as being able to walk and drive without fear of having an accident, there is also hope Norfolk's economy will return to its usual strength.
In many ways the Beast from the East brought out the best in our county, with stories of emergency team trekking several miles to patients stuck in the snow showing and farmers helping to clear roads.
Yet it also will have caused damage - not just to vehicles that crashed in slippery conditions, but also businesses that felt a chill economically.
So many days must have been lost through workers not being able to make it in, as well as lots of potential business from customers who stayed away. Let's hope they get back on their feet.
