Police were called after the discovery of unexploded Second World War material on a Norfolk beach.
Beat officers from Caister were called to the beach at Winterton-on-Sea this afternoon after reports that ordnance had been discovered on the dunes.
Great Yarmouth Police tweeted a photograph of the object which had been founded and said: 'luckily it was not live'.
