King's Lynn is gearing up to celebrate International Hanse Day, on May 7.
Events in the town will include a treasure hunt for families with children, taking them on a trail from the historic Custom House through the town towards True's Yard Fishing Heritage Museum.
Children successfully completing the treasure hunt will be offered free admission to the museum.
Two special guided walks exploring Hanseatic landmarks in the town would take place at 11am and 2pm, starting at the Custom House and ending at the Hanse House.
The Hanseatic League dominated medieval trade between eastern England the northern European and Baltic ports, from the 13th to 17th Centuries. Lynn's Hanse House is one of the last remaining Haseatic buildings in Britain.
