Essence Foods takes two prizes at World Marmalade Awards
Just days after Norfolk-based Ollands Farm Foods announced its glory in the World Marmalade Awards, bringing home two gold and two bronze prizes, another Norfolk producer has released details of its successes at the event.
Essence Foods, based in Reepham snatched up a gold for its Lime Marmalade with Bergamot and Bay (which came out tops in our marmalade taste test this year) and won a bronze for its Salted Seville Orange Marmalade.
Sarah Savage of Essence, who makes all her preserves the traditional way in large open pans, said of the win: 'As an artisan Norfolk family business we are very proud to showcase innovation and top quality products from our fantastic county. Very Proudly Norfolk.'
