The Manchester Arena bombing was a dark, dark day not only for the victims but also the whole of the country.
Of the countless stories emerging from the horrific aftermath of the suicide attack one in particular struck a chord.
Homeless man Chris Parker, who has lived in Norwich, was said to have comforted injured and dying victims moments after Salman Abedi detonated his home-made device.
But Parker has gone from hero to zero after he admitted stealing a purse and mobile phone from stricken victims.

This really is the lowest of the low and a crime which defies belief.
