The Cromer Pier has had a record breaking year with sales up 16% on last year, making this year's show the best selling Christmas Show yet.

The fast moving highly acclaimed show starring Olly Day saw record breaking presales of 60% over the 2016 show something that delighted the hard working staff of Cromer Pier.

General Manager Francis Guildea said: 'I am absolutely thrilled, in a year that has seen us win a new 10 year contract to run the pier on behalf of North Norfolk District Council this was the icing on the Christmas cake.

'The team here on the pier work so hard to ensure that customers get every ounce of enjoyment from a visit to the pier it great to see their hard work and enthusiasm being rewarded.'

He continued: 'We have had more full houses than ever before which was reflected in our programme sales which were completely sold out by the end of week four, even our ice cream sales were up on 2016 we sold over 2,300 tubs during the intervals.'

The team are now looking forward to the highlights of 2018, kicking off with Jim Davidson 'On the Road Again'.

Children will love the half-term treat from 'Horrible Histories 'More of the Best of Barmy Britain'.

Fans of the Jungle Book should make a date for when the Immersion Theatre presents a brand new musical adaption of this family favourite.

Some of the top tribute shows in the UK are also making return visits to the Pavilion Theatre including the ever popular Think Floyd, a great Mother's Day treat will be Material Girl, the Madonna Story before the beginning of 'Someone Like You' The Adele Song Book.

New shows for 2018 include Little Mix Experience, The Joe Ringer Band, A Night at the Musical, and Step Back To The 60's.

Cromer favourites The Manfreds are back on stage and the evergreen Marty Wilde and the Wildcats are back for a one night only concert.

Steve Hewlett, Cromer's best loved comedy ventriloquist is back for a performance with a very special guest.

Olly Day is back on stage with the Jonathan Wyatt Big Band for an evening music and comedy.
