Britpop band James will not perform at Latitude this evening (Saturday) after their flight was delayed.

Latitude festival organiser Melvin Benn confirmed the rumours earlier today.

He said: 'We have been trying to work out all day if we could get them in today. They had a flight to LA tomorrow but that has been put back to tomorrow evening (to accommodate tomorrow's gig); we have been so keen for them to play.

'They will play on the BBC 6Music stage tomorrow at noon. It's just fantastic that they wanted to play, we want them here.'
