Jedward are coming to Lowestoft!

The Irish twin brothers will perform at the Marina Theatre on Tuesday, September 24 as part of their Young Love Tour.

And today from between 10am and noon people in Lowestoft can snap up tickets directly from the Marina's box office before they go on sale over the telephone so they can get the chance to see the charismatic duo in action on stage.

Since first appearing on ITV's The X Factor in 2009, Jedward, made up of John and Edward Grimes, have become famous for their sky high quiffs, distinctive singing style and quirky personalities.

Jedward's visit to Lowestoft is one of only six UK dates to be announced so far for the tour.

A spokesman for the Marina Theatre said: 'Being one of only six dates in the UK and the only tour date in East Anglia we are expecting demand for tickets to be very high.

'Therefore we do recommend local people take advantage of the opportunity to come to the box office in person this morning before telephone lines open at midday.'

Since their rise to fame Jedward have recorded the single Under Pressure which reached number two in the UK charts, represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 and 2012 and competed on Celebrity Big Brother.

They have also hosted two children's television shows, Jedward's Big Adventure and OMG Dream Factory, and have also recorded three Albums, Planetjedward, Victory and Young Love.

They have competed in the Los Angeles Marathon, carried the Olympic Torch, danced on stage with Britney Spears, performed for President Obama before topping Yahoo! OMG UK's Best Boy Band Poll 2012, beating The Wanted and One Direction.
