Giovanni Pernice’s 60-date tour of his show Born to Win will end on a high at the Corn Exchange on Wednesday, July 18.

Producer Paul Irving, whose mother was born in Lynn, said he was thrilled the successful marathon tour will end in his home county.

Mr Irving, 36, who was born in Great Yarmouth and is now managing director of the Strictly Theatre Company, said: “It was always my dream to work in the theatre. I studied performing arts in east Norfolk then a job came up at St George’s Theatre, Yarmouth.

“I am looking forward to bringing the show to Lynn where my mother was born Elizabeth Yardy and we used to visit in the holidays and every half term.”

Tickets are available from the Festival box office at the Corn Exchange on 01553 764864 or at www.kingslynnfestival.org.uk.
