2 See beautiful old cars out for a spin between Sheringham and Holkham Hall on Sunday April 22.

The annual St George's Day Classic Car Run attracts hundreds of classic, collectable, unusual and interesting cars from across the country and raises £1,000s for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. It starts at Station Road, Sheringham at 9am and finishes at Holkham Hall at 4.30pm. nncvc.org.uk

4 St George is the patron saint of Scouts. Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Explorers will be celebrating St George's Day across Norfolk.

6 Soon dragonflies will fill Norfolk skies. One of the earliest dragonflies of the year, which can often be seen in April, is the broad-bodied chaser. Upton Broad and Marshes near Acle is one of the best places to see more than 20 species of dragonfly, including the rare Norfolk hawker, the four-spotted chaser and the hairy dragonfly. norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk
