The show, written by Bob Larbey, will be taking to the north city theatre's stage from June 14 to 16 and from June 20 to 23.

It is described as a witty yet perceptive take on the themes of awkward family relationships, dependable friendships, and growing old not always gracefully, and the play's author, Bob Larbey, is best known for TV sitcoms including The Good Life, Please Sir and Ever Decreasing Circles.

Mel Sessions, the show's director, said: 'The relationships are extremely well-defined, compelling you to listen and laugh, and maybe cry; essential ingredients for a trip to the theatre.'

A Month of Sundays opens at Sewell Barn Theatre, in Constitution Hill, Norwich, on Thursday, June 14. To book tickets, visit www.sewellbarn.org or call 01603 626414.
