Travel arrangements were announced yesterday for the Latitude festival next month at Henham Park, near Southwold.

The three-day event, starting on July 14,

features bands, comedians, poets and theatre groups.

Organisers Mean Fiddler are asking festival- goers to respect the environment and neighbours of the festival site.

The arrangements give advice for those travelling privately or by public transport.

There are special See Tickets coach services running direct to the site from all over the UK. Call 0870 060 3775 or visit www.seetickets.com or www.latitudefestival.co.uk. Combined coach/ festival tickets are also available at Mean Fiddler venues.

Cycle racks will be available at the site at Green Gate 1 on the A145 Beccles-Blythburgh road and Yellow Gate 1 on the A12. Day ticket holders arriving by bike should use Green Gate 1.

Day ticket holders wanting to use public transport after the main entertainment are advised to plan their return journey ahead. There are no train services from Halesworth at that time of night, so the shuttle bus will not be running.
