Hot on the heels of the excitement of singing with Russell Watson at Snape Maltings, Pakefield Singers will be performing again on Saturday, October 13 at St Peter's Church in Kirkley.

At last week's concert the Singers provided vocal backing for several of Russell Watson's songs, as well as performing on their own, and have been invited to join him once more when he sings at the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft in November.

For Saturday's concert, 'Inspirations', Pakefield Singers will perform some of the greatest pieces of sublime sacred music. The choir is delighted to welcome back soprano Jo Westaway, who will sing several solos with the choir. Pakefield Singers will be conducted by their director of music, Vetta Wise, and will be accompanied by Terry Cunnane.

Vetta Wise said: 'This is a wonderful selection of much loved music and we are excited to be able to share this evening of musical inspirations with our audience!'

The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets, which cost £10 with free admission for those age 16 and under, are available from Take Note Music in Grove Road, Lowestoft and on the door.
