Comprising vocalist Debs Hanna, who also plays whistle and piano accordion, and her husband Stu Hanna on guitar, mandola and banjo, Megson have gained fame on the British folk scene, not only for their arresting & intelligent song-writing but for their exquisite musicianship and northern humour.

Four times nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, the duo draw heavily on their Teesside heritage to create a truly unique brand of folk music, bringing an infectious mix of heavenly vocals, lush harmonies and driving rhythmic guitars.

They won much acclaim for their 2016 studio album Good Times Will Come Again which was hailed as one of the most original political folk sets of the year for its mix of relevant, thought-provoking songs in the tradition of Woody Guthrie.
