The Cromer Society has announced a series of events around music, poetry and remembrance to take place throughout November.

There will be a lecture course titled Aspects of the Coast of Norfolk, led by David Stannard, at the Cottage in Louden Road, taking place at 10.30am on Wednesdays; October 31, November 7, 14 and 21. For more details call Chris Branford on 01263 510120.

A Celebration with Verdi with Heather Pike, a recorded music evening, will take place at the Suffield Park Bowls Club at 7pm on October 31, call William Bestelink on 01263 514045 for more.

The Cromer Society Poetry Group will meet at 2pm on November 7, call Arthur Windridge on 01263 515138 for more.

An illustrated talk about the end of the First World War by Nigel Roberts will be on November 8 at 7pm at Suffield Park Bowls Club, call Chris Branford on 01263 510120.

There will also be another recorded music evening at 7pm that night.
