A cosy seaside village is celebrating an arrival of a very special guest and team. The welcoming has been planned for nearly a year and the bunting is ready in and around Mundesley, famous for encouraging everyone to join in.

During the past 45 years Mundesley has hosted a pantomime at the Coronation Hall each year to raise money for local charities.

This year, Mundesley has announced 'Dick Whittington and His Cat', will perform, with a full cast on stage, at the Coronation Hall from Tuesday, February 19 to Saturday 23, inclusive at 7.30pm each performance. In previous years, the hall has had a full house each evening and this year more seating is available.

Dick Whittington and his cat, written by Ben Crocker, stars Jac Gatfield as Dick Whittington, Georgie Ellson as Tommy the Cat, Sophie Lewis as Lady Alice Fitzwarren, Paul Nursey as The Dame and supported by a full cast. Cheryl Collings is the Director, Eddie Bushell, Musical Director, Set/Scenery Design by Jac Gatfield and Ian Cashmore and Choreographer Annamarie Sterne.

The versatile talent of Cheryl Collings and Jac Gatfield, also deals with the lighting and poster/programme design.

Tickets are available from the Corner Café in Mundesley or by calling 07503 297602 priced at £8 per adult and £4 for children under 16 years. Refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
