Folk music will play in support of a group that turns unloved land into places the whole community can enjoy at an event on Saturday (September 22).

Aylmerton Village Hall will see musicians Tony Hall, Threescore and the Occasional Ceilidh Band perform to help raise money for the Felbeck Trust, a conservation group dedicated to leasing or buying areas of land and turning them into nature reserves, using traditional methods.

The trust is now in the process of buying Spurrell’s Wood near Aylmerton and Felbrigg from a local farmer.

They have just been awarded a postcode local trust grant from the People’s Postcode Lottery, but still need to raise another £10,000 before they can buy the land.

The music night runs from 7pm-10.30pm and tickets are £10.

There will be a bar and food available.

To book ahead, email enquiry@felbecktrust.org.uk or phone 01263 837144.
