Has your school signed up to win its share of £20,000 worth of books with our exciting new Books for Schools campaign?
The power of reading at an early age has long been recognised as a way to positively shape children's future success.
Our brand new Books for Schools campaign aims to help children access stories that will inspire and help them grow.
The new campaign involves primary and infant schools collecting tokens in exchange for free books from a list of 700 titles.
Parents, school staff and friends can donate tokens directly to their chosen school - every token will help get a new book on the shelf.
For every 1,000 tokens collected, your school will win £100 worth of free books. The four schools with the most tokens-per-student at the end of the campaign will win a bonus £2,500 worth of books.
It follows hot on the heels of our successful Sports for Schools campaign held earlier this year.
David Powles, Archant Norfolk editor, said: 'The response to our Sports for Schools competition was fantastic and thousands of children across the region will have benefited by being provided with better sports gear.
'Encouraging children to read from an early age is proven to be of benefit to their development and I'm sure the response to Books for Schools will be even greater. I look forward to seeing the ways in which parents galvanise support.'
You can start collecting tokens from Monday, October 1, until the closing date on Saturday, December 8. Tokens will be printed every day in the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News and each week in the weekly publications.
There will be one token a day but watch for bonus tokens and two tokens every Saturday (one token a week plus bonus tokens in the weekly publications).

•The Lowestoft Journal
•Beccles & Bungay Journal
•Dereham Times
•Fakenham & Wells Times
•North Norfolk News
So far 17 Norfolk schools have signed up to take part in Books for Schools, but there is still time to register ready for the official launch on October 1.
Simply send your school name, address, postcode and telephone number as well as a contact name, and the number of pupils at the school to booksforschools@archant.co.uk to register.
