Various roles are available within their planning department, based in Cromer.

The council are seeking Planning Officers to work on policy development, assessing applications and building control.

Ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate a wide range of knowledge of local government, particularly relating to Local Plans/Development Management, have experience negotiating with landowners and of public consultation processes.

Food knowledge of current planning legislation and a degree or professional qualification in Town and Country planning is essential.

Other desirable attributes include problem solving, ability to work to tight deadlines and attention to detail.

A number of roles are available in the department, which pay between £16,781 and £34,538.
