A total of 369 runners braved the torrential rain for the annual Marriott's Way 10km run.
The Broadland District Council event, now in its 11th year, saw runners race along a section of the 26-mile Marriott's Way footpath, bridleway and cycle route, on Sunday, October 6.
Council chairman Karen Vincent started the race in Aylsham and the runners were met by a cheering crowd in Reepham Market Place.
The event raised money for Norfolk Trails, with £1 of every runner's entry fee donated to the Marriott's Way, to make sure it is maintained and enjoyed for years to come.
The council introduced several green initiatives for race day, and around 20 children and young people took part in the third Marriott's Way children's fun-run.
Justine Thomas, the council's member champion for sport, said: "It was wonderful to see such an excellent turn-out despite the challenging weather.
