It is very disappointing that the Cards for Good Causes shop was not based in the Forum this year.
It contributed to the Christmas atmosphere and did not take up much space in the Atrium.
Since it has been relegated to a Portakabin at the side of the Forum, far fewer people are visiting it and apparently the takings are considerably down on previous years.
The volunteers have no facilities such as a toilet and it is either too hot or too cold in the Portakabin.
Why did the Forum not allow this charity shop to continue in the atrium?
