Take a look at the winning creation for the Norfolk Bake-Off.

A few weeks ago we launched our hunt to find the best amateur baker in Norfolk, to create a cake the county could be proud of.

And here is our winner. Elysia Ferrier, aged 31, cleverly shaped her cake as Norfolk and adorned it with iconic landmarks and details including the Cromer crab.

Elysia said of her love of baking: 'From a young age I always enjoyed baking. My mum taught me the classic basic sponge recipe and it's grown from there. It wasn't until I left home at 18 and started to travel that my fondness for the home-cooked comforts truly set in. A homemade cake was always a must when working out either on the ski slopes or sailing to keep the energy levels up.

'I've always been arty and creative. Special occasions are my favourite. This is where I can let my imagination take me away. I work in a small village school where I'm able to share my love for baking, and I often find any excuse or occasion to take in baked treats for the children and staff, as well as sending my husband into work with various cakes and bakes. I even made our wedding cake when we got married in August this year!

'For the Bake Off, having lived in Norfolk all my life, I wanted to show all the great landmarks of the region, and this is where the 3D map came to life, picking out many of the favourite places our family enjoys visiting throughout the year.'

Elysia donated the cake to the Macmillan coffee morning at the Norfolk Broads Yacht Club for the raffle.
