Communities, business leaders and politicians may back a call for the idea of linking the new Broadland Northway (NDR) with the A47 west of the city which they justify by a survey of 1,100 people but, it is not a democratic mandate to spend a great deal of taxpayers’ money (at a time when there is widespread hardship for those at the bottom of the ladder). This is just reckless.

A game of Russian roulette is being played by politicians with the health of vulnerable people in Norwich and the nation.

This is because fine particles of air pollution in Norwich exceed the limits the World Health Organisation has issued as its guidelines to protect our people’s heart and circulatory health.

MPs and councillors are showing no leadership in enforcing by legislation, measures to protect us, we are relegated to being expendable. The vulnerable can now serve notice on the irresponsible that legal claims will follow as deaths are foreseeable.
