The EDP Wedding Shows, which take place a number of times each year, have become a key feature in the county's wedding industry calendar and attract the best professionals in the industry.
As well as the show's regular exhibitors, yesterday there were some new exhibitors joining the EDP Wedding Show for the first time.
Diana Sims, EDP Wedding Show manager, said: 'We have had a tremendous attendance, with well over 2,000 soon-to-be brides and grooms, their family and friends coming to visit us.
'The weather was perfect and that has really helped make it a great day out for everyone who has come along to this lovely venue.
'We have had brides and grooms from Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire coming to get ideas and inspiration at our show bringing together the best wedding professionals in the region.'
Among the exhibitors was Lowestoft-based Woodland Studios, which provides wedding video and DVD services. Sally Watts, who runs the studio with her husband Andrew, praised the professionalism of the show's organisers.
She said: 'It has been so busy today. People have been very interested in what we have to offer and it has been extremely well organised. We are already looking forward to the two-day show in February.'
One of the new exhibitors at the show was Beverly Tunnicliffe, from Wymondham, who provides vintage china and glassware hire.
She said: 'This is our first show, so it's been our launch. The response has been absolutely fantastic and people have been really interested in the idea of having vintage china and glassware at their wedding.
'It's something a bit different and a bit nostalgic and some of the grooms have been particularly interested in the idea of having cocktails, rather than tea, in the chinaware.'
Mrs Tunicliffe said she came up with the idea for her fledgling business after her two sons got married – and asked her to find vintage chinaware for their weddings.
Another exhibitor was florist and event specialists My Fleur.
Julia Pardoe, who runs the Forncett St Peter-based company, said: 'We haven't sat down all day! It has been so busy. Some people have known exactly what they are after, while some have been looking for inspiration. It's been really good.
'We've been able to give people information they can take away and then contact us afterwards, while we have taken a good number of bookings too.'
The first EDP Wedding Show was in 2007 and Sunday's event was the 14th show at Dunston Hall. The next EDP Wedding Show will be at Norwich City Football Club in just four weeks – on Sunday, November 3.
Only 15 stands are still available, so exhibitors should book quickly by calling Judy Welsh from the EDP Weddings team on 01603 772190 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
And, next year, the two-day EDP Wedding Show will take place at the Norfolk Showground in Costessey on Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23.
