DESPITE the freezing temperatures in Norfolk, a group visiting Great Yarmouth this week will find the conditions positively mild.
When Kjell H�kestad, the conductor of the Lardal Kantori Norwegian Choir contacted Town Centre Manager Jonathan Newman this week to check on arrangements for the visit, he revealed that the town in south eastern Norway is currently -21c with 50cm of snow.
The choir arrive tomorrow to perform a Norwegian Carol Concert at St Nicholas Parish Church on Saturday evening as part of the town's annual Christmas Fayre.
The performance by the 35 strong choir will include solo performances from Filip Haakestad and Gj�ril Songvoll, a talented soprano and a lead performer at this year's Oslo Opera Festival.
