Zedify, which has a franchise in Norwich, brings together the Outspoken Delivery and Recharge Cargo brands, which together have 46 couriers using bikes, trikes and electric vehicles in six UK locations. The rebranding signifies its commitment to reducing air pollution, with a long-term goal to offer a zero-emissions delivery service in all urban areas.

The company began operating in Norwich as Outspoken in 2015. It now has five employees and has delivered more than 300,000kg of cargo for clients including wine merchant Harper Wells and Rainbow Wholefoods.

Managing director Richard Jennings estimates it carries enough cargo to remove at least one diesel van from the city's streets every day.

James Brown, a courier at Zedify Norwich, said: 'We think we can do some pretty superhero stuff to make Norwich one of the most liveable cities in the country.'
