Temperatures across Norfolk are set to increase tomorrow as a band of warm air moves in from the west.

Weatherquest forecaster Phil Garner said highs would reach 11C to 12C, which was around 10C warmer than it had been a week ago.

He said the higher temperatures were a result of a change in wind direction.

'Last week we experienced winds from the north, which bring in cold air from the arctic, while this week we've got westerly winds bringing warmer air in from the Atlantic,' said Mr Garner.

'There will be a spell of rain in the morning with brighter conditions in the afternoon.'

Temperatures are set to drop again on Wednesday to around 7C to 8C as the wind changes to a northwesterly.

'We're expecting heavier rain falls on Wednesday, while Thursday will be mostly dry with highs reaching 6C to 7C, which is about average for this time of year.'

Isolated showers are forecast for Friday.
