Life-saving patrols along the region's coastline will begin on a daily basis as the summer season gets under way.
RNLI lifeguards will return to Lowestoft North and Southwold South beaches from Saturday, July 6 until September 8, patrolling between 10am and 6pm every day.
The beaches have already been patrolled by the charity's lifeguards since May 25, but from this weekend there will be a substantial increase in numbers.
RNLI lifeguard supervisor Liam Fayle-Parr said: "95pc of our role is about prevention and at this time we would like to remind everyone how important it is to swim at a lifeguarded beach between the red and yellow flags.
"Our lifeguards are looking forward to returning to the beaches and have completed all vital training to ensure the safety of all beach goers.
"We will be present to provide peace of mind, advice and to assist beach-goers in any way we can."
