A Suffolk brewer and distiller is toasting its success at an international spirits competition.
Southwold-based Adnams scooped the coveted Vodka Trophy at this year’s International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) for the second time.
IWSC judges, who awarded it a Gold Outstanding Medal, praised the drink’s “incredible softness and elegance”.
Chairman Jonathan Adnams said winning the trophy twice was a “real credit” to the team at Adnams Copper House Distillery.
“All at Adnams are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the IWSC Vodka Trophy 2018. Our Copper House Distillery opened in late 2010, has now won the IWSC Vodka trophy twice and the IWSC Gin Trophy, and a bucket full of other medals and awards,” he said. “It’s wonderful to be recognised as a world class producer by the IWSC, one of the world’s most prestigious spirits competitions.”
