Spark of Light, which was originally available to hire out for longer periods through Herbert Woods in Potter Heigham, is now only available for day charters along with a skipper in order to protect this rare piece of Broads boating history.

Designed and built by Herbert Woods himself, Spark of Light allows hirers to travel back in time when they step aboard the traditional Norfolk Broads cruiser,

The classic cruiser is the oldest Herbert Woods hire boat afloat having originally been built in 1927.

She was gradually restored over the past five years and every effort has been made to preserve or replicate the interior in its original style.

She can be chartered with a skipper for trips along sections of the rivers Thurne, Ant and Bure and comes with a fully equipped kitchen and toilet facilities so you can comfortably spend the day afloat.
