A north Norfolk business park is ploughing ahead with growth plans after securing a permission which will make development easier for its tenants.

Scottow Enterprise Park, based at the former RAF Coltishall, has received full planning permission to become a secure business park – putting in place a single consent which brings all suitable buildings on the airbase into use for existing and future tenant companies.

The application was put forward by Norfolk County Council, which manages the site in conjunction with the team behind Hethel Engineering Centre.

Scottow, which is currently 87% occupied, is one of the enterprise zones designated by New Anglia LEP.

More than 400 jobs have so far been created at the site by its 100 tenant businesses, which include 22 start-ups. It is also home to one of the UK's largest solar farms, Scottow Moor, made up of 130,000 ground mounted panels.
