The former site of Britain's most easterly gin bar is on sale for £250,000.
RopeWorks, in Battery Green Road, Lowestoft, closed down at the end of January - with its owner revealing competition from nearby Wetherspoons and poor management were behind the decision.
The bar opened in April 2017 but quickly ran into a multitude of problems and with The Joseph Conrad 300m down the road these intensified.
Speaking after the closure, owner Mandy Harper, said: 'We were to close to Wetherspoons and couldn't compete with their prices.
'With us just being round the corner it was too close for comfort.'
However, Mrs Harper believes under the right management the venue could thrive, she added: 'I think with the right management, and people going in there with experience, it could do well.'
The 4,196 sq. ft. property is now up for sale with Paul Hubbard Estate Agents for £249,950, with an option to buy the property and fittings for £274,950.
