Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure in Lenwade is going through a huge revamp process, which has included a recent name change, in order to develop and appeal to families of all age ranges.

Park manager Adam Goymour said staff also had aspirations to grow the business outside the county.

He said: 'If we're going to develop and grow we need to attract an older market.

'We started with a major investment and rebranding exercise in 2016 that would allow us to appeal to a broader market.'

He said work so far included an £800,000 upgrade to The Explorers restaurant, the addition of an £800,000 new attraction - Predator High Ropes - and improving infrastructure such as the car park, electricity supply and access road.

Mr Goymour said they had continually invested in the park since buying it in 2006, which had led to an increase in visitor numbers.

The park has seen an increase of around 140,000 visitors per year to more than 300,000 as it has become a year round attraction.

'We're aiming for 400,000 plus visitors,' he said, adding the investment project would go on for 'the next few years'.

Alongside the new developments, the 85 acre park hosts other exciting attractions including animatronic dinosaurs in natural surroundings, Dippy's splash zone for summer fun and Dinomite, Norfolk's largest indoor play area for winter fun.

The park recently won the Best Large Visitor Attraction award in the Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards 2018.

Managing director Martin Goymour said they had 'other things in the pipeline' but details of the projects would be revealed at a later stage. 'We're a family business and we tend to react and innovate as we go along,' he said. 'We want to make Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure the top family adventure park in Norfolk.

'Winning the tourism award is a fantastic boost because it's for the whole team that works here.

'It makes us work even harder to maintain those standards and we have to show our visitors why we won the ward.'
