Judges have made their visits, compared their notes – and the results are in.
The finalists in our EDP Hoseasons Tourism Awards have now been chosen, after hundreds of entries were sifted through.
It is now less than a month until the glittering ceremony, when the best of the region's thriving tourism industry is celebrated.
And the awards could not be more timely – last month, we revealed that the industry's value had grown to a massive £3bn for the first time.
Nigel Pickover, editor of the EDP, said: 'It is brilliant to see the list of our wonderful finalists – from thriving attractions to family favourite days out, there is truly something for everyone.
'Tourism is key to our county and the wider region. Having topped the £3bn mark last year, the booming industry, and the thousands of workers behind it, is one we should all celebrate.
'Congratulations to our excellent finalists and thank you to our judges for making what must have been some very difficult decisions.'
The event takes place at Potters Resort on Thursday, November 24, with a drinks reception sponsored by Paul Robinson Partnership. For tickets, contact Stephanie Griffin on 01603 772371.
