A unique scheme designed to develop the business leaders of tomorrow has launched in East Anglia.

Developed by the East Anglian professional recruitment specialists Pure, the Board Ready Talent Scheme has been designed to support businesses in the east to improve employee progression. Including sessions on what good governance looks like, board structures and the difference between executive and non-executive roles, the scheme is being delivered in collaboration with the Cranfield Business School. Launching with an intake of 11 delegates from a range of regional businesses after completing the initial training program delegates will then continue to receive a combination of mentoring, further training and experience placements to help them develop their skills.

Lynn Walters, executive director at Pure Executive who helped launch the scheme said: “The programme is just the start of this unique opportunity which will make a real difference to people looking to progress to board roles.”
