An opticians has its sights set high after being shortlisted for two awards in a national competition.

Dipple & Conway is the only opticians in Norfolk and Suffolk to make it to the final stage of the Optician Awards 2017, which recognises practices and individuals in the optical profession.

The company – which has practices in Norwich, Diss and Swaffham – has been shortlisted for independent practice of the year and the contact lens patient engagement award, where it will be up against the Holborn branch of national brand Specsavers.

Matthew Conway says: “We’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted for the Optician Awards, in not one category but two.

“These prestigious awards recognise the best opticians across the whole of the UK, and are judged by our respected peers in the optical profession; it really means a lot to be nominated as a leading, independent practice on a national stage.”
