Demand for talent in Norwich's burgeoning technology sector has led to increased salaries, according to new research.
The city has been highlighted as one of the fastest growing digital hotspots in the UK in the Skilled Cities report, published by Hays Talent Solutions and Deloitte.
The study found digital salaries had risen by 4% in the East of England last year, compared to 1.8% nationally, while across the UK 81% of companies are facing a talent shortage in the sector.
James Milligan, director of Hays Digital Technology, said: 'For tech start-ups looking to open an office in Norwich or businesses looking to relocate, they should expect to find a strong pool of digital talent, however they must also invest in supporting this by making sure they are offering attractive salaries and transparent career progression.'
Last week's Tech Nation Report 2018 which revealed Norwich had seen a £2m increase in digital turnover in 2017.
