A campaign to make Norwich the UK’s foremost “sharing city” will be helping to public to understand its mission with an exhibition next month.

Norwich Sharing City is following in the footsteps of campaigns in the US and Europe to make the city more appealing to “sharing economy” firms like Liftshare, Ofo and Airbnb.

To mark Global Sharing Week (June 3 to 10), the campaign is hosting an event at The Forum on June 6 from 6pm to 8pm.

It will explore groups, people and businesses operating within the sharing economy in Norwich and give visitors the chance to sign up to the Norwich Sharing City campaign, which also hopes to secure accreditation from the Sharing Cities Alliance.

There will be food, drink and some sharing activities to participate in.

Email info@norwichsharing.city for more information or if you’d like to get involved in the event.
