A firm of chartered accountants and business advisers with a Norwich office has won the National Firm of the Year title at the 2018 British Accountancy Awards.

Price Bailey also won the graduate and non-graduate programme of the year award.

Price Bailey won the award thanks in part to the firm’s Contact Time initiative, which encourages staff to spend additional time with clients without charging them.

The firm was also commended for its approach to encouraging flexible working and engagement with local communities.

Martin Clapson, managing partner of Price Bailey, said: “Winning National Firm of the Year against such calibre of competition is a testament to the innovation, commitment and hard work of the Price Bailey team throughout the year.”

He added that it showed the firm’s commitment to its communities in East Anglia.
