Executive travellers at Norwich Airport have received an upgrade to their pre-flight experience.

The airport's executive lounge has reopened following a three-week refurbishment.

The upgrade includes a range of new facilities and an enhanced food and drink offering, from more breakfast choices and a wider range of snacks to a fully hosted bar.

There are also new USB charging points, a wireless printer, new seating and additional tables for working on the go, as well as complimentary newspapers, magazines and wifi.

The lounge will be hosted by a member of the airport's customer service team. Access is free with certain tickets, but can be booked in advance for other ticket holders.

Richard Pace, managing director at Norwich Airport, said: 'The executive lounge is very popular with business travellers and those looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere before their flight, and we've already had some great feedback about the improvements we've made.'

Meanwhile work is continuing on a new Duty Free shop at the airport, which is scheduled open early next month following a complete refurbishment.
