Archant Norfolk 2016

Companies keen to boost their export potential can find out more when the Department for International Trade's mobile Export Hub visits Norfolk next week.

The event, part of the DIT’s Exporting is Great campaign, will be held at the Hethel Engineering Centre on February 21, and will show businesses how to get started in overseas trade.

It will provide information on the benefits of exporting and the processes that need to be considered, as well as the support available from DIT.

DIT regional director Alan Pain said: “DIT is on hand to help firms manage common barriers to exporting such as cost, language and administration.”

In the year to September 2017, East of England businesses exported £21.59bn worth of goods, out of a UK total of £323.6bn. The DIT has 36 international trade advisers in the East of England.
